Did he deliberately punched the ball ? yes
Did the ball touch below his armpit? yes

The slow mo zoomed in 6 second clip just looks like upper arm to me
I agree that the normal speed broadcast image looks like hands.

What I haven't seen is a zoomed in full length clip that shows before and after the tweeted slow mo does.

And you never will, it suits them to have a clip that shows it hit the upper arm then immediately stop, to me that makes it even more suspcious, perhaps the camera broke at that very moment ;-)

so why take 2 hours to release? They would have had all angles within 1 minute of the incident

It really doesn’t make any difference once the game was officially over but I’m not sure why everyone is repeating this two hour thing? It was 15/20 minutes. Owen Hargreaves jokingly said two hours when he was talking about it.

That’s surely after contact was made as in the other footage you can see him push his hands forward to the ball, saves it and then deflects past his shoulder. In that you just see the recoil and is purposely disrupting reality.

That begs the question, why are they trying to hide it?

It makes no difference if it deflects off his shoulder as his hands were in an unnatural position and he used them to push the ball away, either before or after his shoulder was involved

It's a penalty
We were shafted
Fuck off (not you or other blues) but everyone else.
Well except my close family

You accepted a 2-legged tie vs scousers where we had 6 game-changing decisions against us? I will never forget that. And that was our Centurions team. We get through that tie, we quite possibly lift the cup.
And you think var improves that situation? It only makes the decision making process more opaque. Referees dither and var backs them up under their definition of what is clear and obvious. Do you think we’re refereed more fairly pre or post var?
