Ref Watch

I have said this many times, the ‘clear and obvious error’ threshold for VAR allows them to continue to attempt to influence match outcomes via officiating.

The ref didn’t immediately give the penalty on Grealish and no doubt they will come out later and say VAR found there was no “clear and obvious error” to require the ref to via the incident.

The only “clear & obvious” is how they apply the rule for us compared to others.

I've tried to stay away from the "are we reffed differently" debate. " Stand out examples in that first half. The most blatant penalty you're likely to see not given either on field, where there was no indication either way, nor eventually by VAR. The most telling however was an advantage that was given to City after about 10 minutes on the edge of their box, within about 3 seconds the ball went out of play. There was no bringing the ball back as no advantage despite the ref talking to the Wolves player. The later on Wolves were allowed advantage, and 3 bits of play later and about 6 seconds, it's brought back to award the free kick. If the refs want to be shit, at least be consistently shit!!

How can it not be a penalty, he doesn’t get the ball then clearly kicks the calf of the player, now that is not subjective is it, all the bent cünt has got to do is see if he kicks him or not.
It’s a absolute joke, and even the idiots in the studio are saying the ref is having a shocker, so we just have to put up with that do we!
