Ref Watch

Supporters of all clubs should be encouraged to voice their total dissatisfaction with PiGMOL and it's management of referees performances and VAR operation.

They are responsible for ruining the game we all love.

Fans moaning on club forums isn't going to change a thing as far as these arrogant cunts are concerned.
Axe VAR and we only have to put up the cnuts in black, fuck it, less chance of ulcers

Quite honestly I get the Cancelo one. He was clumsy and, whilst I don't agree with it, you could see why he was binned.

But 2, 3 and 4 are blatant and wrong beyond incompetence. The fix was in last night.

I hope we are fighting this.
Really? Never in a million years is that a foul. The ball over his head was difficult plus he has a big strong forward bearing down on him. He misjudged the touch on the ball, tried recovering but only had eyes for the ball. He leant slightly into the player as anyone would but could do nothing about welbeck hooking his arm over him and using him as leverage.
I thought I’d wake up this morning and see reports on how bad the ref and VAR was in the press but there’s nothing?

Hahaha the refs in this country are a shambles. The ball was still in play too so can't use that excuse.

I’ve never witnessed a round of fixtures so corrupt, where’s Martin Samuel on this ? Can’t believe he won’t want a chance to take it all apart, it almost feels like the officials are remonstrating against VAR it’s that bad, which is strange given it’s about to become an old boys club where fat twats who can’t run as are put out to pasture

The Len one did look bad at first blush. But that’s where VAR should help. You can see Len both getting tripped and pulled back in the footage. So instead of coming to the right decision (or even letting the ref see the full footage FFS) they decide the error wasn’t “clear and obvious”. Totally flawed system and needs a radical reboot (how likely is that) or binning (even less likely!)

I definitely believe the Brighton fans had an influence. Last minute, home side ahead, the crowd would have gone berserk if the ref' gives a penalty - Attwell bottled it. VAR probably saw him about to blow for the foul and "Suggested" he ignored it "For crowd safety reasons".
What do you think they might have done? Invade the pitch? Attack each other? Shout some nasty words?

make the conversations between the ref and VAR official Audible to the supporters and stop the cheating cunts from fixing the outcomes.

I have always said it should be EXACTLY like rugby. The fans can see and hear everything that’s being discussed.
It’s all too easy for them to pick and choose which decisions to ignore.

This begs the question: are the VAR officials listening or being influenced by the commentary?? That **** Neville with his "OOOOOH' that looks bad" any time it is us or Fernadhino with his "tactical fucking fouls".
I've believed this for a long time , that they are all linked in together , so they're all reading the same script and pushing their influence to the officials

I think they need investigating publicly . Bring them all in together including these so called ‘match coordinators’, confront them with all the mistakes and ask their explanation. Not one journalist has asked the Premier League for their thoughts on PIGMOL or so much as posed a question to any of their representatives, it’s a total whitewash by those that are actually in a position to ask the questions we all want asking and then ask more questions when there’s no reply, that’s what they get paid to do. It makes you wonder why Both organisations get such a free ride?

That is just RIDICULOUS! It's one of the most blatant penalties ever!
It goes way further than incompetence and must bring into question the honesty of officials and outside influences.

The 'clear and obvious' rule needs to do what it says on the tin and if that means onfield refs having more decisions overturned by VAR then so what? If the ref has made a mistake on a penalty claim or red card offence and video can see what really happened then VAR should rule accordingly. Doesn't matter about subjective interpretation by commentators or whether the ref was in a position to see it.

VAR needs calling out by the Media and Fans alike or football as a sport is dead.

Can anyone find out what happened in the Juventus match-fixing scandal? Must have been one final straw that broke the camel, or somebody coughed. If we think PGMOL is rigged, then evidence is needed, we can't just react on emotions. And we aren't the only club fucked over by VAR.

Look, I don't mind losing, I think we should all remember that City are not invincible and have no right to win any game. But, last minute winners, sheer bad luck and brain farts from our team, sometimes these things happen. But in that Brighton game, a game with nothing riding on it, or determining other team's chances, it dies whiff a bit. A lot in fact and I'm still quietly seething about it. Incompetent referees- yes. Bias to some teams - yes. Corruption...... very hard to prove.

I think the press/media are in bed with the refs , VAR etc.

If the press/media wasn't why havent they called out Attwell the other day or the bizarre VAR decisions over the last few days.

This week must be the worst for VAR, it's been horrendous on both Tuesday and Wednesday night.

Same when Foden tried to stay on his feet against Southampton, blatant penalty although for some inexplicable reason Andy Hincliffe said that he,d jumped over the keeper. He got penalised for staying on his feet although after the last few days I haven’t got a scooby what a penalty is anymore.
