Ref Watch

It gets worse every time you see it.

It’s bent, it’s not a mistake, it’s an out and out bent decision.

The corruption is in place when the commentators agree with it & brushed off every appeal we had.

It’s backed by the pundits & every single working ref or assessor in the media.

It’s like the old days again, all it needs is someone saying they all even up over the season.

I’ve said it before and it’s been discussed on here that the tv companies are almost pulling VAR’s strings it seems.

Within a second a pundit will say what he thinks should happen and more often than not, it’s exactly what does happen.

The officials won't come out after the game and explain their decisions and if managers and players call out bad decisions they normally get disciplined.

I'm fully expecting Ankanji to be fined for his post match interview even if it's true.

Even Ten Haag admitted that he would have been upset if that had happened to his team.
”I wouldn’t be happy if it was my team as well, and when I concede a goal like this, so I can see the disappointment on the other side”
From MOTD.

Clearly a wum that needs a ban.

Physically ran towards and after the ball when he was offside = playing the ball = influences all defenders decisions = offside. Thats why most players who know they are offside stand still and allow play to go on around them.

Not even a debate

People seem to forget that Ederson is an opponent who is trying to play the ball by making a save. He clearly positions himself for a shot from Rashford, so he has affected Ederson's positioning. Play to the whistle you are told. What whistle?

It's incredible that someone can be offside when just standing in the goalkeeper's line of sight, but can't be offside when he is bearing down on goal and positioning to shoot.

Who is ref for the Arse v spuds game ? Feeling Arse might get shafted today . Obviously anyone but us for the title, but as they are manipulating scum into a position to challenge they will have to start influencing Arse games soon , might as well be this weekend as corruption and manipulation seems to be allowed .

He knew he was offside - the evidence being the fact that he avoided touching the ball.
With that knowledge in his mind, his further participation in the move- ie his continued run adjacent to the ball, which was designed to distract defenders and goalkeeper, was a conscious decision to interfere with play.
It cannot possibly be seen as anything else.
Correct.

How can the city defence not be drawn or react to Rashford its natural to do so he'd have to be invisible otherwise

As someone who has made point of not running for most of my life, I think he needs a lesson in what not running actually looks like

People need to start assaulting these fucking frauds outside of the game. People respond to incentives, and not getting a beating by just being ethical is a pretty good incentive.
I'm angry too but I don't think we should go down that route.
I would like to think the club will send a strongly worded letter, highlighting not just the offsides but the continued fouling from the likes of Malacia and fernandes (again) and the lack of early cards for them. This is a constant in all our games. Time and time again we are fouled and yet the first yellow card goes to a City player.
As a club we need to make sure all the officials are uncomfortable when they visit, that they know we will be watching and a complaint will be sent. It is only after persistent complaints that we will get fair officiating. It worked for fergusson, that turd ruled the roost and got his way because he constantly stamped his foot.
We have been too nice for too long, we rode it out in the early days but it hasn't improved. We need to flex some muscle otherwise like all underused muscles it will weaken.

It’s already been reported that Attwell made the decision with no var intervention

That's what they want you to believe.

Atwell may have reversed the linesman's decision on his own, but all goals are reviewed by VAR, in particular for offside, as a matter of protocol.

It's all so cleverly implemented to obtain whichever outcome they want, just like at Anfield last week.

Want a goal to stand? Over-rule your linesman's off-side, then suddenly its subjective and VAR will find reasons not to re-review it. Or, in the case of last weekend: just accept the goal and VAR will find reasons not to re-review it.

Want the goal ruled out? Leave the flag up and then VAR will find reasons not to re-review it. Or, in the case of last weekend: tell your linesman to put the flag up and VAR will find reasons not to re-review it.

VAR would have confirmed the offside he may have asked them to confirm if he touched the ball
I would expect that Oliver and McCann the lino are embarrassed to be involved in the wrong decision but were powerless to interfere

Agree 100% they can manipulate games if there is an opportunity
