Referees’ Performances 2018/19

Lads - lets get this straight. You can have bad refs. You can have asshole refs. You may even have refs with subconcious dislikes for certain teamsor players. But what you do not have is refs that are under instruction, or that have been influenced in a certain direction. Its unbecoming to suggest that they are there.

To think it through.

Say Liverpool. Or City or any other team for that matter. Look at how much they would lose if it came out they were trying to influence a ref. These are billion dollar/ pound/ euro entities.

It will be straight down two divisions with ya. It'll be several hundred million off the value of the franchise. it'll be owners reputations compromised and looking to sell up asap.

Thats not happening, its not going to happen. Its daft to suggest it it is happening. Forget about it.

That’s exactly how I saw it, Chilwell just barged him over and Sterling went flying, would’ve been given for sure if he’d been wearing red.

Come on City, 2 more wins for a historic season.

By Deans recent standards that was a contained and low profile performance last night. He could have red carded Dave for that shocking challenge - it wasn’t a red but it doesn’t need to be with Dean. He gave Leicester anything he could but it was an okay performance to be fair. The pen could have been given but I never expect us to get anything from officials.

So Clattenburg went away just for a long holiday and also Peter Walton, and Mark Halsey was just making it up when he said he was told to make certain decisions ?

When you have so many teams sponsored by betting companies does that not make you think they would want to weigh it more in their favour, I mean it’s happened in many other sports and football has a lot more money at stake. I for one have seen some shocking refereeing displays in 47 years following the Blues, and we always seem to have to take it out of the officials hands to win.
Hopefully we can do it 2 more times to finish a fantastic season.
