Referees/Officials

I just don't get why showing an imaginary card is considered a bad thing, but screaming at the ref to book a player isn't.
This is a good point, our messiah can't speak a word of english so to show his thoughts would wave the card gesture, but carroll et al can speak english, just. so its ok for them to say stuff like fucking ell ref you gonna book this c*** or what, and get away with it. Understand it technically is dissent but its a daft rule when players particularly those of certain clubs can be seen swearing obscenities in the refs direction frequently.

Sterling wrestled to ground in build up for first goal - no booking
Sterling brought down by late tackle on edge of box- no booking
Sterling brought down in box - no booking
Sterling taken out by lunge with trailing leg - injured and not even free kick.
Carol flattens Fern from behind - no booking
West Ham players shouting in refs face throughout game - no booking
Jesus waves imaginary card - booking!
Really! REALLY?

Don't forget the one where Noble was clearly asking for a 2nd yellow for Jesus' tackle and in the process the ref didn't give Noble a yellow.

Yeah but the far bigger issue is that the little spoiled shit hasn't washed his car and shops in poundland.

Yellow card for brandishing an imaginary one, but what sanction was given to any West Ham player who immediately went over to Kevin NoMates when he gave the penalty. I don't suppose they were congratulating him for spotting the stoner! Or even suggesting in the politest way possible that the player concerned was Sterling and he only concedes them! They are pro-footballers and would be using industrial language. But that's alright these days since Rooney established the 'genre'!
