They steal the yards 'cos the Whistling Wankers let 'em! The same Whistling Wankers who allow the away team all kinds of nudges, shoves, pulls without sanction and at the drop of a hat pull up our lads! I really would like to sit down with these refs and just go through a few video clips with the comment "Why this one, but not that one?"

If you want to legitimise a corrupt / bent organisation - who better to wheel out than former members of the said organisation - refs on the take is nothing new but it feels more blatant these days.

They get worse with every match. They have never been as bad as they have been this season. Taylor, Mason, Marriner, and now Dean are all past their sell-by-date, and that makes the massive assumption that they were ever of merchantable quality. There isn''t one with whom I would have an ounce of faith.

Watched the Super Bowl today and it reminded me how good refereeing can be. Those refs get almost every single thing right. And the video reviews catch anything they can't see. It looks competent, fair and above any suspicion of bias. Makes football (soccer) official look like amateurs and chancers in comparison.

The game was determined by a few key decisions and there was really no doubt that the officials would screw it up. Wish we could trust our officials like that but unfortunately it's almost more likely that games are determined by bad refereeing these days than by goals.

David Gill - his go-to man who represents the rags at club director level/FA/UEFA and FIFA.

NB. I must add that there is NO conflict of interest in his various duties whatsoever. No siree, none at all.

I also believe in Father Christmas, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and know personally each fairy at the bottom of my garden. Oh, and Donald Trump. (not really the last one)
