Regrouping of singers within the stadium

No offence, but........

For the last time. Please God!

The away fans won't be moved. Cutting their allocation to one and a half blocks in the lower tier of the South stand is the last and final compromise the club can make.

The away fans are staying where they are in the South Stand lower block.

fuckinhell, what's wrong with people?

It's not up for discussion, there will be no alterantive, regardless of how smart you think your idea is. Read the OP properly then support it or don't.

I was helping with handing out the leaflets at Goodison on the weekend and was genuinely shocked at how few people had heard about it so far - it shows how important word of mouth is in these situations!

If you know anyone who might be interested in this, let them know so they don't miss out!

- or on all three levels - I thought I read somewhere.

thats because most city fans dont use blue moon or know about 1894 group. you need to keep handing out leaflets at at home and away games. In the pubs, outside the ground. Get everyone to know what your doing

I agree that there is always room for improvement - but most city fans that I would describe as being 'hardcore' have had a lot of chances to hear about us, whether it's on BlueTuesday, MEN, Bluemoon or even seeing the displays in the stadium!

We'll carry on with the leaflets in the hope of reaching more people, but the best way to spread the word in my opinion is telling friends about it and spreading the word!

I sent an e-mail to Radio Manchester - Blue Tuesday programme, with a link to the initial notification on this forum and suggested it may be worth a mention on the next Blue Tuesday programme. to let supporters know. Maybe they can mention it on air or via their Facebook page.

Could the club not detail it on a section of their official site ?

I would assume that 1894 have been in touch with all the media sources. If 'blue Tuesday' don't know about this something is badly wrong. They would interview one of you about it, I'm sure.

Would it not be better to switch the position of the away fans, ie. Move them to where the south stand City fans are now. This would give City a larger group of singers with the east stand corner and the now switched south stand blues as one. This would prove a more vocal support , as one group rather than the two it is now. Plus the TV cameras would not be showing the away fans very often with you them tucked away out of shot.
p.s no drums we are City ...........drum free since 1894 !!
the .................. away ...................... fans ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, are ................... staying ..................................

Yes they will be on level 1,2, and 3 from next season.

Just a thought for you .city seem able to let the 1894 in early to put banners etc up .
Would they not let you leave flyers on seats in the affected /target blocks to raise awareness ?

Could do, but there are no specific blocks/seats effected ... the all stadium is effected..

Wouldn't targeting the singers in the corner furthest from the away fans be the ones to target first ?
To box in the strip of away fans ?

Alberto, have you contact Blue Tuesday at GMR? They'll interview someone about this I'm certain.

Any chance then of approaching the Club to maybe get its media team to throw something together that could be shown on the Big screens Prematch and Half time against the Tarquins and the Smogies ?

Approached the club numerous times to get the big screens involved prematch to request fans getting in seats early to help hold cards up in displays / or actually show the displays on the screen along with flags waving. But the main priority for whoever makes decisions on what goes up on the screen seems to be to show city square or the people involved in PA or filming of young supporters shouting 5 nil to city..
