Remembering Colin Bell

He was the reason I started following City.
He played for Bury (my home town) and was my Hero. Always bumped into him in the Cafe in the centre,Rosamar I think? where all the Bury players went after training and he was always happy to sign autographs.
Once Bury sold him to City I switched clubs
It all started well but we had a few lean years as well ;-)

We crossed paths at the entrance to his stand one matchdday. I said to him: Colin, when you were playing I thought we couldn't lose!" "We lost too many", he replied!
