If you get chance to read the programme for today’s game my article is all about Colin. I hope it comes across in the way I hope. I wanted it to stress to those who never saw him play what he means and how special he is to us.

Remembering Colin 'The King' Bell who sadly passed away two years ago today.

Simply one of the greatest footballers of his generation.

When Kev got off the bench last week to that roar i had a couple of tears thinking of Colin. We have had some wonderful outstanding players at this club in the past 15 years but Colin was my first. Stood out a mile how good he was. Cheers Colin.

I thought the same when Kev started warming up, a proper heroes reception. I imagine it was three times louder when Colin made his comeback

As you can see by my username King Colin was my hero , I'm 58yrs had my first season ticket aged 7 in North stand with my grandad so got to see him but didn't really appreciate how good he was. I was there on his comeback game when everyone to a man/ boy in my case stood to applaud him coming on from the bench.
