Return of Supporters

Looks like too many chiefs on this one.

Should have kept it simple. A ballot is a raffle - no loyalty involved. If your number comes up you get a ticket.

Fairness for all.

could have done 8000 ST ballot and 2000 Cityzens. I bet there are at least 10000 Cityzens at every home game.

im a season ticket holder but the self entitlement of some on here because of nothing more than Age is baffling.

If these numbers are wrong then apologies but I think we have around 40k sc holders. If 10% have gone to those over 22k that leaves 6k tickets. Take away a further chunk for hospitality, player’s family and friends, ticket office personnel and there might only be 5k left for 36k people making it more than a 1 in 7 chance. Ballot for all would have been the fairest IMO. Points accrued from going to away games shouldn’t be used in this instance.

Well said ‘younger fan’.
You’ll go a long way in life
Not sure if you’re being sarcastic or not. Either way my comment wasn’t intended to cause any offence. Nothing against non-ST holding Cityzens supporters but think it’s unfair that people who have been to one or two games will have the same chance to go as someone just under 22k with a ST.

My question is,
do an adult and child both have go into the ballot separate, and take pot luck, they're both successful?

Agnelli the head of Fiat has it right, “Whenever you have to make a really difficult decision that will impact a lot of people, you should always, as a leader, seek the views of other leaders. And the number of leaders you speak to before you arrive at a decision should be an odd number. And that number should be less than 3”.

This is from the club’s FAQs:

“You can enter the ballot with any qualifying supporter (that holds the same qualifying membership type as you) that is within your household or support bubble.

All qualifying supporters must be connected by Friends and Family via their online account.

Supporters cannot enter the ballot as part of a group, and then as an individual. You can only enter a match ballot once, and the ballot will be drawn so that everyone within the same group (ballot entry) would be successful.”

It’s one game, and after all that has gone off over the last 14 months where over 3 million people have died in the world and arguments ensue. It’s one game. I shall go forward foe the ballot if I get one great if not then I hope the people that do really enjoy getting back in the stadium. Never going to be an easy decisions on who gets one and who doesn’t but turning against each other for one game just feels daft in many ways.

Hopefully next season we will all be back watching every game.

As someone with little interest in going to a mostly empty stadium in current circumstances it doesn't really impact me which way the tickets are decided. I just think for fairness sake it needed to be one or the other and I can definitely understand the frustration of those just beneath the cut off. Going off the statement city have put out city matters have been threw under the bus but isn't that really what city use it for anyway, they have little interest in fan opinion as proven by the ESL. The fella giving the statement for the website should of knew he was being set up with that.
