If these numbers are wrong then apologies but I think we have around 40k sc holders. If 10% have gone to those over 22k that leaves 6k tickets. Take away a further chunk for hospitality, player’s family and friends, ticket office personnel and there might only be 5k left for 36k people making it more than a 1 in 7 chance. Ballot for all would have been the fairest IMO. Points accrued from going to away games shouldn’t be used in this instance.
There will be less than 1k on over 22k I'd say

Thanks

We didn't, and to be honest we didn't all agree about the specifics between us either. However, we did feel it would be wrong from someone who hadn't missed a game to miss out, the club put the points on it.

For what its worth I'd have done it off loyalty points.
Appreciate the reply and I retract my unfounded comment, it was more a reflection on how it came across than an accusation but it was unnecessary regardless.

I'm in total agreeance with you, those people should be guaranteed a ticket but so should those on 20k/18k/15k or however many points the top 10k season ticket holders have.

They'll be people on a lot of points that have never missed a game at the etihad but don't have enough points to guarantee their ticket, a standard points system would have been infinitely fairer. the points system has been built up for what must be approaching 20 years now for situations like this yet its been ditched in favour of a random ballot, making it all seem pointless but for the smallest section of people sitting at the top.

Assuming we get a CL final allocation and it's done on points, they'll likely be people who can guarantee themselves a final ticket but can't do the same for a home game, that just isn't right.

I understand it's ultimately citys decision and you guys have a rather minimal say in it but you are our voice in this and the wording on the city matters part of the email sent out makes it sound like you wanted to give priority to the few at the top (rightly so) but haven't bothered to try and ensure that same privilege is carried down the ladder to everybody and that's why frustrations have boiled over.

However, in this instance, I feel it is completely wrong to allow Cityzen members equal chance to get a ticket as per City season ticket holders with thousands of points.

It is incorrect to say that Cityzens members maybe can't afford a ticket or scrimp to get their tickets. To me, they are simply not as committed a City fan as season ticket holders.

My dad who is a Cityzen member currently went to pretty much every home and away game on the 70s, 80s and early 90s and didn’t get any points for those games. Often he would buy tickets on the day, due to finance and work he stopped going for years. So 30 years of going, but your telling me he’s not as committed or doesn’t deserve a chance at a ticket now?

your post smacks of entitlement. Someone who can afford to go and be privileged enough to get tickets. Plenty of blues with barely any points who have been going years

Should have been done on a ballot for all fans

My question is,
do an adult and child both have go into the ballot separate, and take pot luck, they're both successful?
Think you're confusing it with applications for the Generation Game.

"And welcome to Father and Daughter from Milton Keynes, 2 avid United supporters"
"Nice to see you, to see you nice"

Now Fuck Off you pair of Rag cunts, you're getting nowhere near the conveyor belt!

I'd be amazed if that was the case, up until 2 years ago I was scraping a derby ticket in the last window before they sold out, never managed a Bournemouth ticket either yet have 21980. I would be surprised if i'm in the top 3000.

And you want Ric to ban people for being abusiv
