Return of Supporters

Some of this is covered in the Amnesty thread but deserves its own space because it's about who returns, when and how.

The club hasn't asked how many fans are happy to return so the ballot is fuzzy and no mention of points or supporters club allocation? Let alone Citizens and those who go game by game.

Great news for those happy to defer for a year but still raises more questions than answers?
I'm struggling to see an issue with what's been

I'm sure this has many replies along the same lines.

Surely only supporters happy to return would enter the ballot - otherwise they're just selfish.

Points - seriously that's a concern right now. The club won't be awarding points for the whole season.

Supporters club - only an issue for away games (which won't happen)

Citizens and game by game - sorry lads it has to be Season tickets first

I think the club have handled this pretty well to honest

Is this the current guidance that clubs are working to?

Because if it is I'd welcome you to point out where it stipulates that photo ID is required. Just point to a paragraph.
It's not stated. But the SGSA document is a set of guidelines only, not detailed instructions. The fact is they have to know who's in the ground. And the only way they're going to be able to guarantee that is by using photo ID.

And I'm still waiting for an answer to the questions I asked you.

Can someone please link again to anywhere where i could get photo ID from, when i have none at all (and therefore getting your first one is problematic). The official gov age ones that only cost £15 are suspended due to the virus, so i have been struggling to find how to get photo ID, esp when it may be needed before xmas..
Again this isn't a dig, i genuinely am struggling and any tips are welcome.
Thank you :)
Drivers licence is your best bet, shouldnt be affected by covid albeit running a bit late

Get a provisional driving licence?
Not sure on cost of that

thanks, and to Kaz as well. I'm going to prob try and get that, my other half has mentioned it a few times in the past when soeone moaned at me for not having photo ID, but i thought it only lasted 12 months, A quick google shows it is valid for 10 years. If that's right, i'll try and get one sorted in the next month - even though i probably wont be trying to get to a city game, i still need to get sorted, just in case. Thanks for the pointer! :)

If you want to cut the cost down see if they’ll take photo Id for a bus or train pass.. usually free apart from the cost of the photo

Just a thought that’s all

Just got in touch with the club. At the moment the club has not come to a decision on what steps it is going to take, and also how it will operate it so as to keep all supporters happy.

i think its wrong and it should be all fans or no fans ? why letting 17,000 in will stop or reduce the spread of covid-19 ??
them fans going could be infected by 5 or 10 fans, so what is the point because even 1 person goes in infected
the risk is high so until a vaccine is found and its safe for everybody just keep it on lockout

i know am going to get hammered on here for my view but its not going to help and the risk is still high and for me its daft, also we all know people will jump list and get to go to games ? any system or points or a raffle will be open for people to moan about and ask questions

also corporate and V.I.P we be given the larger about of tickets because of the price the club can get for tickets

One thing, you dont have to wear a mask whilst sat in your seat, surely that is when you are spitting whilst shouting and singing, these rules never make sense,it is nothing bad to have to wear one then,so why not?
People complain they can't sing whilst sitting down, so they're not going to be able to sing wearing a face covering ;-)

When you see what's scheduled to happen at Brighton I can see some people rejected as they try to enter the ground.

Questionnaire to be satisfactory completed before you can get in, families can't sit together even if in a bubble and temperature checks before you can get in.

Listening to the Brighton chairman 10% capacity, with the FA Vase games at Wembley less than that, proving the concept.

Masks worn all the way through the game, only removed for eating, so fag/vape lovers beware as can imagine strong policing as the alternative is fully behind closed doors.

Atmosphere of an EDS game at the big ground.

Regarding Corporates, what's the point of them wanting to turn up? You can't take a guest and a shit experience. You'll sit were you're told and won't see your usual seat until 21/22 at best

Its all about CONTROL.

city need to look after the die hard. All those on 22k plus loyalty points (about 2k) should get in to all games - they are the life blood of the club. IMO they should not be in a ballot. Let the corporate lot and jkl like andreas from dronfield go in the ballot.
