One game that always stands out with Dunney for me is a game at the Etihad against Liverpool it was 0-0, Dunne was absolutely sensational that day against Torres didnt give him a kick of the ball. Few occasions you'd think Torres was away from him through on goal but Dunne had a burst of pace to get back and get him. Incredible display but he had games like that in his locker big time.

Dunny was alright but he got taken apart by Joe Bugner. All of his titles were lost after that.

Not me. He was quality even after we'd battered Bolton and then he decided he'd try his hand at basketball! I would have loved to have Dave Ewing partnering Dickie Dunne - two colossuses, or are they colossi?

I started a similar post back in 2008 with the title -
"Richard Dunn got absolutely battered by Joe Bugner".(When Dunney Monster was still a City player). That caused quite a stir of interest at the time I can tell you.

Dunne wasn’t the most skilful or talented player but he gave his absolute all in a City shirt each and every time. A City legend for me.

I became a fan in the mid-90’s so I’d say Flitcroft, Brown, Goater and then Dunne were my favourite players.

It doesn’t matter that they’re not the most skilful or talented. Anelka was a top class striker but I never warmed to the man.
