Rico Lewis and Oscar bobb

Agreed, and having just watched Walker’s performance for England I think it’s time to let Rico play the right back role, stepping into midfield moving forwards.
Walker is definitely nearing the end of his career. But I think it is unfair to judge any England player's performance at this tournament.

I agree, it was a frustrated comment, nobody can perform under this manager. I’m basing it off what I saw last season with him as well. I’d love him to stay if he’d accept a reduced role, but in my opinion the time is now for Lewis to step up.

I rate Rico. His movement and positioning without the ball is excellent and he's a tough little player. But not sure he will ever cement a place in the squad. I expect next season he'll start the champions league group games, disappear for a bit, play a couple of games in the winter and then disappear for a bit. He's everything people are claiming Mainoo is but he has no obvious place in this team

Walker's been a fantastic player at City, but he's starting to look 34 and without being too critical, I would suggest that he's probably appeared at one tournament too many.

It would be great if he accepted a lesser role, as Rico seamlessly acquired more minutes in a successful team, but history tells us that it won't be that smooth.

Slightly different with Bobb as he looks a genuine quality prospect. He just needs more games, either as a late substitute in the PL or as a starter in the cup competitions

Let's see. I'm pretty sure similar comments were being made about Foden back in around 2018. Bottom line; if they prove themselves to be good enough, they'll still be here.
I agree, it's up to them to prove themselves. Although Palmer is ripping up trees at Chelsea he didn't prove himself enough here, and that's why he was allowed to leave.

The Palmer one is a little odd.
He didn't ask to leave, he asked for more game time and asked to go on loan if that was the way he would get more time.
He was refused the loan option and given a choice , stay with the club or be sold.
Not sure why the loan option wasn't available to him as we had several players on loan last season.
The Chelsea offer has worked out well in the end for Palmer.
