RIP Terry Hall

As a 9 year old the first Specials album had a massive influence on me, and is still my favourite ever album to this day.

RIP Sir :(

If you haven’t already have a go on this, really good insight into the band, covers all sorts from the band’s beginnings, touring with the Go-Go’s, Terry’s relationship with Jane Weidlin. The Special’s was the first Album I ever bought and weirdly enough I had it on in the car on the way to work on Sunday. RIP Terry, thanks for the tunes at least you’ll have some company with Brad.

happens all to often people from my youth passing
gets you thinking of your own mortality
do what you can while you can
Same here re the people of our youth, I'm 63 in Feb, so Terry's death is one that really does resonate, saw them at Deeside Leisure in 78/79?, brilliant band that summed up the mood of the youth at the time.

As for your last line, right on, we're a long time dead.
