Listening to a few on here, combined with what is being said about Sunak bringing them around, I’m a little worried that the country could be lulled into giving them another term.
If that was the case, this country deserves all that it gets.
Still somewhat baffled why not having local amenities is a good thing. Can a resident Conservative on here explain that one? How far do I have to travel before I comply with proposed Govt policy? Is there a set speed to measure the time/distance ratio?
For example if my speed is set at ‘tortoise’ pace then I can still visit my corner shop. If I’m on ‘cheetah’ mode then I‘m likely to have to travel to the next county for the basics.
Some helpful clarification on the Govt’s latest brainwave would be appreciated.
