He’s a moments player like he is still at Leicester. Only gets involved 4 or 5 times a game and then it looks like he is trying to prove he belongs at this level. The breakaway in the 1st half, when he could have played Aguero or Sterling in but shot was telling. Unless he changes his mentality and realises that he is just one cog in a well-oiled machine, he won’t be a success here.

Has to work harder as well. He’s had enough time to ‘adjust’ to Peps tactics and has not joined us from a foreign league. He’s just not impressed.

He could cure cancer tomorrow but so long as him playing means Sané is on the bench, some folk won't take to him and I stand by that. Some players aren't treated equally.

Perfectly entitled to shoot when he did. Aguero's run pulled the defender away and opened up a nice bit of space for a former POTY to shoot from 18 yards out. He missed. So what? Sergio missed from 2 yards and Silva missed from inside the six yard box. Do they have mentality problems?

He has 7 goals and 6 assists with limited and thus interrupted game time. He plays badly he's benched, Sané plays badly he's benched. Sterling, rightfully imo, is the only one with the safety net of starting more often than not. Without that it's always tough of players.

He still played his part in the opening goal, set up Aguero to hit the bar and created two great openings for himself that he should have but didn't take. We won 3-1 and he played 80+ mins, he played 5 mins against Leicester and got mullered for some reason.

Nobody is tearing it up on the wings constantly this season for us, even Sterling has had a recent dip. Why Mahrez gets the unquestionable large portion of the shit is strange.
 
Not his most effective game against Saints , becoming a one trick pony defenders know they have to show him outside on his right foot , he had half a dozen decent shooting chances today and blew every one of them , needs to be scoring more goals to keep his place in the team
