Think he will be a big asset in the champs league when teams dont park the bus.
Hopefully but I'm not really sure he will be in this team. At Leicester he had Vardy to hit on the counter,we don't have a striker with that kind of pace. If teams come at us our pace is Sterling and Sane with the Silva's or KDBto play the passes for them.

Not really a fan of his. I hope he proves me wrong but I don't think he fits in with what we need as a team. Not worth the money we payed.

I'd be surprised if we see much, if any, improvement in Mahrez this season as it seems like he is in a rut. Clearly he is low on confidence as he offers very little so all we can hope for is a vast improvement next season. It could happen but the signs aren't great.
I have to wonder what lengths the Mahrez-haters are prepared to go to, hound him out of the club, maybe?
What caused them to hate so much? Dipper levels of vindictiveness, maybe when we played them, they fell victim to passive-bile syndrome always a danger at Klanfield. Very sad, but not the first time, so not really shocking.

The problem is unlike the other attackers he is not multi-functional.
At what he does he is very good and for Leicester when he was the main man he starred immensely because everything and everyone worked for him.
At City he is just another forward. And his game is a bit too predictable without the space given to him by others doing the leg work. He has to work a bit harder for his own space and to dovetail with the others.

Oh don't be such a drama queen, plenty of people just aren't convinced, especially considering his price tag. We're all still going to support him, but fans are allowed to voice their thoughts and concerns on a football forum.
