Probably our poorest player on the pitch today....not for the first time either.

I know Pep will have forgotten much more than I know from attending games over the last 48 years but I can't see what he brings to the team.

He'd have more kudos if just like Gundogan he didn't bottle tackles. These 2 are by far the worst offenders and going back through the years even if your Robert Hopkins level of shit if you put the effort in you'll get some love/time from us.

He could cure cancer tomorrow but so long as him playing means Sané is on the bench, some folk won't take to him and I stand by that. Some players aren't treated equally.

Perfectly entitled to shoot when he did. Aguero's run pulled the defender away and opened up a nice bit of space for a former POTY to shoot from 18 yards out. He missed. So what? Sergio missed from 2 yards and Silva missed from inside the six yard box. Do they have mentality problems?

He has 7 goals and 6 assists with limited and thus interrupted game time. He plays badly he's benched, Sané plays badly he's benched. Sterling, rightfully imo, is the only one with the safety net of starting more often than not. Without that it's always tough of players.

He still played his part in the opening goal, set up Aguero to hit the bar and created two great openings for himself that he should have but didn't take. We won 3-1 and he played 80+ mins, he played 5 mins against Leicester and got mullered for some reason.

Nobody is tearing it up on the wings constantly this season for us, even Sterling has had a recent dip. Why Mahrez gets the unquestionable large portion of the shit is strange.

Mahrez gets most of the shit because currently he is the absolute opposite of everything we have built since Pep arrived. He is a very selfish player and whilst I don’t totally disagree that he was entitled to shoot, I never thought he would do anything else. For me, it was yet another moment where Mahrez is thinking about Mahrez and not the team and if you’re going to be a selfish player, you have to deliver the goods to get away with it, currently he isn’t delivering the goods.

I was his biggest fan on here for years before he signed. Really wanted him
and was over the moon when he signed. I know what a fabulous player he can be.

He’s been mediocre since joining and was fucking abysmal today.

Have you not clocked his body language? He knows how shit he’s been. Looks utterly devoid of confidence and very rabbits in the headlight.

I’m very disappointed given the very high hopes I had for him.

Well we lost two in a row, playing poorly, with Sané and Sterling starting so Pep made a change. Fair and reasonable when logic is applied. A case could have been made for either of those two not to deserve a start before today.

I also don't know where this selfish idea comes from but arrogance and the like is supported on here I thought from players.
