@Machiavelli

Thanks for the alert but i have no problem with him and nor should anyone else.Had he been on my radar he wouldnt have got through approval and he would be gone.

As a foreign supporter who also follows the PL,please give the lad a break and welcome his alternative opinion.

As i keep saying, report someone if you have concerns/issue,do not call out in public. Its not fair and its not right.

Cheers :-)

The "sad rag" made some good points though about Mahrez's confidence, creativity as well as RW fit.

When we want to take the best out of any player Pep should maybe try more options.

When he FINALLY scored today I thought that's the position where he has to get more often:
edge of the box in the half position, left or right. And finish with his left, which normally is a weapon.

Strange as your first ever post on here when you first joined (Jun 2018) was on the Mbappe thread (which is locked now so I can’t quote it here) your very first words were “PSG fan here”, in that post you are enjoying telling us Mbappe will never come to City! Your second post was reminding us you had also signed Naymar previously! Now here you are pretending to be a Leicester fan whilst mocking Mahrez.

Which are you a PSG fan? A Fox? Or a WUM. @FantasyIreland might want to have a look at you.
Nice knowing you. *waves*

Ok so i'm going to justify myself a little bit. I am French, i live in Paris and i follow Leicester City in the PL. For the case of me mocking Mahrez, it was pure irony (over-criticism against him). Except from that, i don't understand what it has to go against my posts ? I'm just clarifying Mahrez's situation as it's a player i follow since 2013 exactly. Take what you want to take. I'm not here to create trouble.

Keep posting pal,all is good.

Its clear that he has not adapted to the change in dressing room. in leicester he was a star player. here there are so many stars. to standout you need personality on and off the pitch. right now mahrez lacks it. also leicester and city play completely different systems. one is counter attacking where you can run at the opponents more while here it is about skill and intelligence. so he needs to adapt.

I got a lot of stick on twitter for suggesting that Sancho isn't far from eclipsing Mahrez and that he will do relatively soon, and I still stand by that. I think his game intelligence is phenomenal given he's only 18. Yet it's Mahrez's biggest weakness, and he's 9 years older. I honestly reckon Sancho would have more goals and assists if he was given the same game time Mahrez had this season. He just uses the ball so much better. I know, I know...move on, its done, get over it etc. Just a point that slightly bugs me, because it could have been so different.

are you serious?? sancho has no game intelligence himself. I have watched the Dortmund games and highlights. sancho is all about pace and counter attacking and finishing the moves. he would be completely useless in our team. anyway we have a better talent than sancho in our academy right now. if I can find the video I will post it later.

You definitely haven't watched him then if this is what you truly thinks about him.

Ive seen Sancho play about fifty 90 minute games. To suggest he has no game intelligence is laughable. His weight of pass and lack of selfishness is exactly why he gets so many assists. It's also why he benched Pulisic. He's raw, yes, but he's 18. He's phenomenal for his age. His only weakness is that sometimes he fancies his own dribbling a tad too much. That's age. Even then, that often isn't a problem and he redeems himself with a brilliant one two, through ball or assist.

Also, there is absolutely no one in our academy teams anywhere near Sancho at the moment. Not even close.

Not with a £60m player who has a wealth of PL experience and is our record signing.

He's doing bang average and hasn't improved us. That's where my frustrations with him lie.

His game needs to change though. At Leicester he was playing on the brake with Vardy, his job was run it up and give it vardy, or run in to space for the out ball and between him and vardy it would be 5 touches and a shot. We play nothing like that, he has to pass pass pass. It will come. He has great technique and can beat most full backs one on one. He just needs toi work out how and when to use his skill set. He will come good.
