Generally I think clubs waiting until the last day of the deadline to put through multi-million pound transfers is poor planning and management.

That said, this is pretty fun.

I think there's a massive difference between making a last minute move on a target you've identified a long time ago and done your homework on, as opposed to just jumping on a player last minute because they might be what you need.

I assume this is the former because we have done so much homework and scouting on our previous signings under Pep.
