We don’t need money, poor little Leicester are really a thing of the past.

If you doubt our financial clout go to Talking Balls and go to the new training ground thread.

There you will see exactly what we are trying to achieve.

Stadium expansion/rebuild plans to follow shortly.
I genuinely hope that the ambition is real, but it is getting more difficult to realise. Leicester might get a slightly easier ride. Every neutral fan wanted you to win the Premier League a few seasons ago, but as soon as you threaten to regularly challenge for honours the attitude soon turns ugly. Leicesters journey will require season upon season investment in the squad, which the established elite have tried every trick in the book to block citing Leeds and Portsmouth as horror stories to justify their actions.

Take the Champions League at Manchester City. We turn up every game with five officials in a sea of 50,000 who manage to make you feel uncomfortable, like you've gate crashed a party that no fucker invited you to.

i appreciate the need to acquire is in no as urgent as last summer, However the need to improve on 2-3 positions are vital to keep us at the very top.giving PEP options, we will be the team to beat next season everyone wants to fook the champs

That’s great but with FFP transfers are benchmarked to turnover, investment in infrastructure is not. Therefore money raised by transfers will help invest hard cash into the team. Why do you think the likes of Chelsea and us sell on lots of players for profit? Not because we are not a rich club but to offset our transfer spend and satisfy FFP.

Ok, fair enough I am unclear of FFP rules. We have spent £50m so far and we appear to be happy to spend the same again so perhaps we are fairly certain of £60-£100m in incoming fees to offset this.

Is it not more to do with the premiership ffp rules. Making £65 - £75 millon on Mahrez, who you paid peanuts for possibly means you can sign 1 or 2 quality players for someone who wants to move on. Now as a fan you most probably dont want Mahrez to leave, but Leicester and our board will see it as a win for both sides.

It’s tied to income and you can only increase wages by a few percent. Its ironic most of the league who voted for it to limit City, will be more limited themselves.

I think most sensible (does this exist anywhere) Leicester fans are resigned and have come to terms with him leaving particularly as he has been our (in my opinion) third best player ever for us.

Just in case anyone is inter acted the other two are Kante and Vardy.

I just wish it wasn’t all so protracted and difficult.

I sincerely hope he flourishes under Pep and holds down a place as an ever present, as he won’t thrive being on the bench.

If you ever need to know about ffp this is the place we've become experts on it.

I think you have a job on your hands at Leicester. The championship team is largely broken up. With your present management team you have the opportunity to build a good footballing team - so a couple of smart additions - from Europe where there’s better value could see you challenging for a Europa League place and the cups. I think Mahrez is done with you and you are probably better moving him on and bringing in a quality replacement.
