Robben

I take it all back lads! - I said he was selfish, seeing him play last night he put a proper shift in for the whole team!

Lets buy him NOW!

But will he do this every game? My guess is no

He's gonna be off to turkey, if he's there on September 1st next season with pep in charge I'd be shocked

Robben? !

Has this been in the press today? News in Spain suggests a move for Robben, but no quotes. Following the Pellegrini news being leaked, should this be ignored or taken with some creedence?

Re: Robben? !

Hopefully Ignored, 29 and notorious for his dodgy knees.

No thanks.

Re: Robben? !

Seeing as though Pellegrini didn't want him sold at Real Madrid there could be a very small chance he could sign for us.

Re: Robben? !

He's 29 now and struggled with the physical side of the game when he was last in the Premier league. I'd rather the club went out and bought the "new" up and coming Robben type of player, rather than a guy that Bayern allegedly no longer want now Pep and Gotze are there.

Re: Robben? !

Is it just me, or other blues heads spinning with all the speculation of bobby being sacked/leaving who's going to replace him... who were meant to be buying blah blah blah blah..

I can't keep up and feel like i'm in a complete daze!

I would take him.

Unbelievable player. One of the best right wingers in world football, if not the best.

He would add pace, width and goals from midfield - all things we lack.

There are a few doubts over his injury problems, but nothing too serious I'm sure. We all thought the same about RVP and he's done alright.

His age isn't ideal, but he's hardly too old.

We are looking at players like Lamela and Sanchez, who fit the age requirement a lot better, but Robben is in a different league to them.

As a player, I rate Robben highly.
His injury record is a concern. However, if he could be carefully managed, (like Bellamy?), plus his wages and fees reflected a potential "limited availability," then he might be a good buy?
