He had an ok game i thought, the good thing about this season is that we arnt all looking at him to carry the team through a dodgy away day at blackburn, we have a much better squad now which may take the spotlight off him not playing tremendously every single game

To accomodate Tevez who was always going to play it was either going to be Robbie, Bellars, or SWP, Robbie is class in a glass I don't know what effect he has on the opposition players by being on the pitch never seems to get publisized, but as other posters have said on here it only takes a few seconds for him to conjure up some magic, in the pissing rain, away at hoof ball Rovers he was contributing less in graft than the other two players even though in my opinion he had contributed just as much in skill, no doubt he will have a full 90 mins at Nou Camp to build up match fitness along with Ade and Tevez as compensation, because Mh has already stated Bellars can't play three games in a week.

Agree with that point, there were a few occasions today when the ball dropped on him from miles up in the air and he killed it stone dead before moving the ball on, the technique of the guy is breathtaking, even his most ardent critics couldn't argue with that point. I just think it's because we know he has such stunning ability that people get frustrated that we don't see more of it. I think we want him to be this dominating, all-conquering attacking menace in the mould of a Gerrard or a, dare I say it now he's gone, Ronaldo, but he is never going to be physically imposing enough to be able to do that. He isn't particularly robust and he doesn't have a terrifying turn of pace, so it's a wonder that he's any kind of threat at all in the Premiership. But defenders gang up on him because he can tie people in knots with sheer natural, god given ability and I hope we see plenty of that this season. But I don't have a problem with him being sacrificed if the going is tough, because he isn't capable of putting in a Bellamy-type shift.

To be honest, i can see why Madrid used him off the bench most of the time. He's seems more cold than hot. No doubting his talent, but bellamy did more in 20 mins on the left than Bob did all game. He's now become expendable with the talent we have.

It depends how you judge productivity, but for Robinson Robinho would have two well taken goals. He can turn a game in a second, that's why he should always start if available IMO.

Didn't have a great game today , and gave a fair few balls away , not quite what you'd expect from a player so costly ...... yet there were a couple of occasions where he almost scored , and that's where he can be so dangerous , when he appears to be doing little else.
