Just read the John cross article and to be honest it's nothing short of embarrassing.

Quote below from Cross when Arsenal beat us

After watching Arsenal sweep aside title-chasing City last weekend, John Cross of the Daily Mirror is confident the Dutch talisman will realise the risks in moving to a dressing room that seems to be at war with one another. He says, “The grass isn’t always greener, money doesn’t buy you absolutely everything. Man City can offer him more pound notes but if Sunday told us anything it’s that Arsenal is still a happier place for Van Persie to be than Man City.”

Was Arsenal a happier place on the last day of the season?

Cross is usually not a bad journo but when his beloved Arsenal are involved he acts like a jealous lover.

Indeed, he doesn't even try to hide it.

+1 . Wenger sycophant. Wouldn't recognise a balanced view if it jumped up and smacked him in his pasty Norf landan face. .Twat.

I really don't see why this deal is being held up.

Arsene knows how to sell his players.

The more they wait, the more pounds they will get.

They already bought the replacement, so they are in no rush to sell.

People fall for this utter bullshit every single bloody close season. EVERY SINGLE ONE, FFS! Jesus Christ, the media is full of fucking A J Rowliings and "The Brothers Grimm", and yet someone always, always falls for it.

Reality check - We are the champions. The most imortant thing for us is to RETAIN our players, not bring wholesale changes in just for the sake of it. Bobby wants to add one or two players tops because he wants cover in every position and a squad wih the depth needed to mount a genuine challenge in the Champions League (which, if you remember, was won this year by a far inferior team to ours).

I wish the whinge and panic merchants on here would get a grip and STFU. You sound like spoilt rags. Jesus, you and your "now now now" twattiness.

Fuck off, I say.

What will Arsenal do when the window shuts and they have an unhappy player on their books

Anyhow that's irrelevant. The hold up is City have 4 top quality strikers, and if we make a serious bid, we have to sell one - not just make one available for transfer.
