robin van persie (continued)

made a pit stop at sadcafe and it only reminded me how much i hate that club and why pretty much everyone els not attached to them hate them as well. I believe its in our DNA to dislike them and they must be the most hated team in the world.

(now we gonna win the league, best attacking team in europe, Mancini look you signed rodwell we signed the rvp bla bla bla) CUNTS

They are utter pricks hate the fucking lot of them.

Let's not forget this deal will create a huge amount of pressure, not only on RVP but also on Ferguson. My guess is RVP and Rooney will divvy the 35-40 goals out between them rather than each scoring 25.

But it will be very interesting to see how the fickle fans react if RVP has a goal drought and United struggle.

Let them believe the hype. RVP may turn out to be a good buy and give them a boost in year one but, by year two and three they should begin to feel the pinch of his high wages in return for his injury record. Wait till year five lol. They'll be stuck with an expensive sick-note.

Nice to see them have a RSC in the making...

They won no trophies last season and he's on a huge salary. So when will the media begin questioning whether he went to rags for the money like they did to Nasri???

Tend to agree about the last roll of the dice. A clever gamble if it works out or, it becomes his most costly and unforgivable mistake.

Either way it'll be the end of him. Win win

It does smell of desperation..... a little like the Berbatov deal?

IMO Ferguson and the Glass fitters will get found out in the next couple of seasons. Kagawa is a good signing but they are still very thin in MF and their defence is creaking under the weight of a too old Ferdinand, a lightweight Keeper and the as yet unproven Jones/Smalling/Evans triumvirate.

They will ship in too many goals this season to win the League. I will laugh my arse off if Arsenal win one of the Cups and the Rags fuck all.

I think he's counting on most teams in the league dont really have full go at United and instead of another midfielder he counts on even more fire power with rvp. But their defense and midfield needs work. They have only 1 left back at the club, Smallings is out for 3 months, Vidic hasnt played a year and Ferdinand is injury prone nowadays. Then you have Giggs and Scholes playing important roles in midfield. Carrick is solid, but anderson is average and cleverly is nothing special. That will cost them in the end unless City fvcks it up somehow. Last season we almost did it despite their flaws

Don't see a place for Kagawa unless they push him out to the wings where he has to compete with Valencia, Nani and Young for a place.

He's just spunked 40m in the hope they can eek it put this season and he can retire before the Blue Tide engulfs him.

That's my understanding of it too..He wants to retire on a high, so doesn't care what happens after this rash spending..leave that to the others. Then give an interview a year or two later, saying that if he were still at the helm they would still be winning trophies.

And that's assuming that the red-nose twat will still be there to see the club he managed go tits up..

I honestly think we didn't need him anyway. We have already have a much younger, better striker in Aguero. Add to that the understanding Aguero has with Tevez, the age & talent of Balotelli, not to forget Dzeko waiting in the wings. RVP's a very good player, but one who at 29 isn't one for the long term. His injury record isn't too hot either.

This deal does one of a few things..It proves just how desperate taggart and the rags are just trying to keep pace with our squad. It is absoulute financial suicide £60m+ for a player that will be 34 at the end of 4 years and have no sell on value. It also confirms to the young strikers at UTD that their own manager has no faith they can out gun our 4 strikers.

I will be willing to bet anyone a fiver he won't go injury free this season never mind the next 4.

Give it to them, RVP would have been a waste of space and a waste of money. The Rags have already spent the rest of their fortune on this player, while they have not even mended the holes in their team.

lol, Arse fans already drawing up plans on how to deal with RVP..they want not just one, but both his legs to be broken..wow!

Hmmm this also from RedCafe ....

"We need to keep him away from Frimpong."

We need to get the Mohawk back to sort this out.
