ROBINHO last night fired an astonishing parting shot at Manchester City accusing Roberto Mancini and Mark Hughes of running the club like an office.

The Brazilian superstar finally got his wish to leave last week when he completed an s18million move to AC Milan.

And as his transfer brought a controversial two-year spell in England to an end, Robinho let rip at the tedium of his humdrum life under both Mancini and his predecessor Hughes.

Playmaker Robinho painted a picture of life at mega-rich City that owed more to an episode of the hit BBC comedy The Office than a global football force hell-bent on conquering the world.

The 26-year-old Samba star also revealed how he:

Felt neither Hughes nor Mancini UNDERSTOOD him;

HATED living in cold, dark Manchester;

PREFERRED Old Trafford and Anfield to Eastlands;

Should never have LEFT Real Madrid ... and was on his way to Chelsea before Citys last-minute bid;

Was PROMISED City would overtake Manchester United in a couple of years;

Only RESCUED his World Cup dream by returning to his homeland on loan during last season.

In an astonishingly frank interview, Robinho, who cost City s32.5m, said: Neither Hughes nor Mancini understood me. Perhaps they only believed in the sporting side of things but that wasnt enough for me.

There was a lack of contact between the players and the club. It was much like an office to training and goodbye, to a match and goodbye. I am Brazilian and I cant offer my best performance if Im not happy in every aspect of life.

As usual the opening headlines are sensational but, having read the rest of the article, are hardly representative of what he actually said.

Maybe the club can learn from a few of his supposed comments - sign players who are more likely to be happy living in Manchester (which probably discounts most Brazilians) - Maybe even employ a Phycologist and small team to actually make things easier for players to adapt and enjoy life away from the ground - A player who isn't happy off the pitch is unlikely to perform to true potential on the pitch, and you can't just say for the amount of money they get paid they should be happy, life isn't like that, and they will get similar money in Milan, Barca or London. Manchester can be dark and wet and miserable, so we must do our best to help players to adapt and to give them as much off field happiness as is possible. We are now in the market for the Worlds best players, we have to get it right with the ones we sign and make sure we look after them when they are here.

I could live anywhere and be the happiest guy in the world for the kind of money he was making. The fact is that Robinho has been coddled his whole life and will never be happy unless everything is absolutely perfect.

He never played in away games and seemed to be great with a lead but unwilling when faced with adversity.

Well I just love it when I'm right!!! And I hate to gloat a little...(Oh ok Em lovin it!!!
But I told you so.....Many many times many many months ago. And what did I get..Slated by all you know it all monkeys..Hahahahaha

HAVE IT.

Oh I know football is a mans world and this is really hurting all you know it all big mouth Muppet's in the groin. BUT I DON'T GIVE A SHIT.

ROBINHO IS A SPOILT LITTLE SHIT AND A TOSSER WHO HAD NO RIGHT WEARING THE COLOURS OF OUR GREAT CLUB. IT ABOUT TIME YOU ALL FIGURED IT OUT.

WE GOT ROBINHO< WE GOT ROBINHO...HAHAHA WHAT BUNCH OF SORRY JOKERS YOU ALL ARE....HAHAHA. IM LOVIN THIS.....

Yeah, what a load of fools. Singing songs about a City star, supporting him and hoping he would do well. Morons, the lot of them. We knew all along, though, right? Yeah, we just had to bide our time til the club's record signing went wrong and we took a loss on him and now that time has come and we can laugh and laugh and laugh. Must admit it was a looking like we might not get our chance when he was one of the top scorers in his first Premier League season, but then luckily he threw a strop and went to Brazil on loan and we knew from that day we'd been right all along, unlike these other sorry jokers, or 'fans' as they call themselves. Can't wait for the next huge signing to go wrong, I live for this shit.

FFS.

This would have happened if you chose to work hard, promises are promises, glories don't fall from the sky.

Just like the rest of them blames everbody and everything else for his failure to get into the team.

130,000 a week for 2 years hardly an issue is it? if I remember correctly all was wonderful after the first season wasnt it?

Very dissapointing these players that feel they have to justify their failure.

Good ridance tp them all.

Onwards and upwards with Bobby.
