Robinho.

It's frustating watching him put a man of the match performance with brazil 1 week, then the week after for city he goes missing?... if he doesn't leave this january then he's going to be in trouble when it comes to making the team sheet for brazil in the world cup when he isn't even making the starting line up for city ...

Bring back ali benarbia

Robinho's been poor the last few times I've watched Brazil. I think it's a bit of a myth that he's good for Brazil and crap for City. He gets in the Brazil team on reputation and that alone.

Course he does. Never let the truth get in the way of a good witch hunt eh?

There is no better site in football than watching a skillful player take the piss out of defenders, its worth the ticket money.

Robinho however in my opinion just doesn't have the pace for the Premier League or the strength for that matter. Having said that I think it would be stupid to get rid of him without buying either a top class winger or creative mid-field player. And while we are at it we need another forward as well seen as though Adebayor is out for god knows how long, Benjani couldn't trap a bag of cement and don't get me started on Santa Crock

No problem with your opinion mate, we're all entitled to them and nothing wrong with a bit of debate like this. Some people are always biased towards thier favourite players and find it hard to say a bad word about them and that just doesn't include Robinho fans, it's the same for Bellamy fans, De Jong fans etc. One things for sure is that based on yesterdays performance everyone must to do better and i'm sure they will

A fit and on form Robinho would be a huge plus for us so i'm hoping he can return to a bit of form but at the moment he's badly out of form

I would like nothing more than him to make me look a complete c*nt and run rings round them on Tuesday.

me neither, but you've got more chance of plaiting shit, hes had more chances than i can remember, fuck the excuses the guy is paid the best part of £200,000 each week, shoots his mouth of at any opportunity he can, walks straight of the field of play and down the tunnel, fuck me even slapped arse gaynaldo sat in the dug out. ive had enough and we deserve better and better doesnt cost £32,000,000.

The problem with Robinho at the moment (this is just personal opinion) is that he's a one-trick pony...

If you watch Messi then you will see that although he is of a similar size / frame as Robi he can change his play depending on the opposition, he can either run with the ball if he is getting the space or if he is being closed down / man marked then he switches to simple one touch passes... Pass and move!

From what I have seen so far this season of Robi (which fair play to the lad I don't think we have seen him on form yet) is get the ball and run... And because of tight marking and tough defences he has 9/10 lost out... Stop trying to do the clever step overs and start looking for the pass!!!!!!! I bet the number of times Robi was on his ass against Everton was twice the number of successful passes...

But having said that the rest of the team didn't exactly break into a sweat trying to move into space for a pass anyway...

Robinho is an absolute arsehole and i cant believe city fans can come on here and defend him. How can anybody defend a player, that when he gets subbed he storms off down the tunnel like a little kid. By doing things like that he is showing a total disrespect to this club.

What does he expect?? To be able to stay on the pitch and prance about showboating and ducking out of challenges? Im not saying he should be flying into tackles like De Jong, but for gods sake he's a grown man!!!! What a wimp!!!

This is a team game Robinho. Remember that.

Burnley home - Decent

Arsenal home - Played well
Bolton away - Decent
Sunderland home - Outstanding
Wolves away - Played well
Blackburn home - Poor
Everton away - Poor

Huge difference in how the two are percieved on here yet they've both had there fair share of bad games and both had their fair share of good games since they've been at the club

I don't like bringing other players into the debate on Robinho but Bellamy is in direct competition with him and is praised left right and centre on here while Robinho is slagged off nearly every week despite only starting a handful of games this season
So Bellamy's had double the amount of good games than Robinho has and has played a lot less. You're kind of backing my argument up even more mate.

Plus when Bellamy isn't on top form, he works his balls off like any of us would and always gives 100%, Robinho hides and makes it feel like we have 10 men. Bellamy still looks a threat too when he's not playing well, whereas you know Robinho is just gonna slow down attacks and then lose it.

Not in my opinion. Do you honestly think Robinho has only had 5 games for us where he's been above average? If you think that then theres no point me having a debate with you on this subject

According to the guardian he lost the same number of tackles as Bellamy and Tevez, 3 out of 3
