Robinho's time has come?

so your neck is on the line Ajay, in a sense that if your talking camel shit what exact retribution can be carried out with you overseas, or is just a plain banning sufficient?

Also if Hughes doesnt do the business this not next season, after selling our best player that we'll probably ever have, then to say they'll be a riot with his head on the end of a fukn pitchfork is an understatement...
He's not the best player we've ever had, he's not even the best in the current squad.

the fans of this club are its worst enemy

the manger has come out and said robinho is staying
the chairman has come out and said he is staying.
barca have said there is no meeting and that they havent even decided on who their january targets are!!!!!

yet we still have people saying that he will leave, and that he should come out and say something....why should he? all he has said when asked if he would like to play for barca is yes........but that he was committed to city.

ask any player at any club they will give a similar answer that will tehn be twisted by the media reporting it to look negative and as though he want sto leave.......

it is this sort of attitude and mindless panic/speculation that will drive a player to leave.....

The next thing that will happen is that when he does start playing again.....one slighly bad performace, one miss placed pass, one failure to track back etc etc...and that will have the fans on his back, people saying that he is too busy thinking about barca to care about city and the press having more fuel to the fire......!!!!

well done people, you have surpassed yourselves again.........!!!!

When Moyes and Kenright said that he wouldn't sell Lescott under any circumstances, did you believe them? When Hughes said Dunne had a big future at the club, did you believe him? It's football, take any comment from a club official with a pinch of salt.

I think he'll go, if not in January then in the summer and when it comes down to it, it doesn't really matter if Hughes or Cook think otherwise. Doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to his return for us, if and when that happens he'll be getting a big cheer from me.

Barcelona will not hold any meetings with Manchester City officials in the Middle East this week amid rumours an approach for Robinho was being set up, Txiki Begiristain has confirmed.

The Blaugrana's technical secretary dismissed reports that a trip to watch the Citizens appear in Abu Dhabi could see an offer being made for the Brazilian, as many reports have suggested.

Instead, Begiristain explained, a Barcelona delegation would be present by invitation of the United Arab Emirates hosts at the game to inaugurate the Zayek Stadium.

“We won’t be meeting with City," the director was quoted as saying by Barcelona's official club website.

"We’re respectful and it hasn’t been decided who should come, not even if anyone has to come and who it should be.

"There’s a prior stage missing which is a meeting between [coach Pep] Guardiola and me. Once the decision has been taken we will follow the strategy for any signing.

"This meeting hasn’t taken place yet. So we’re going to see the City match and that’s all."

Its really a shame to see that this is how robinho returns the favour. We saved his career when he was insulted by real madrid. We put our neck on the line when the media claimed he was unprofessional and he cried in the dressing room. I hope city get every penny for robinho in january. I'd rather see us mould a champions league team , than fix it with champions league misfits.

I got a hint today and that's why I put my neck on the line....

I also got a big hint today that robbie is going, city dont want to let him go but robbie himself wants to go and you know what the player wants the player gets ,thats why he is being good as gold at the moment like a child a couple of weeks before christmas. He will never play for us again and this injury is a huge smokescreen so as not to risk damaging the merchandise .
