Pep also went to Bayern and the first thing he did was put Javi Martinez in defence, a player very similiar to Rodri in a lot of departments.

Actually a bit surprising that Ferna has been his CB project and not Rodri. But then again, maybe he thinks its better to let Rodri get used to the pivot, considering Ferna probably will leave us soon. Also Ferna got slighly more pace and mobility, which would help us against counters, but as shown this season, he is not really fast enough to compensate for our high-line

For fuck’s sake stop being daft just to be alternative or to counteract the posts who slate him for being woeful at times.
It sounds like you disagree with my opinion. No need to throw insults. I repeat, I think he is World Class. His intelligence on the ball is outrageous.

I'm sorry you don't see that

Not to give my direct opinion on Rodri here, but you can have world class abilities without necessarily being world class.

And separately, given that world class is so open to interpretation these days I suppose two people could hold a player in equal regard and still disagree on whether they're world class or not.

We paid £60 odd million to bring Rodri to be our DM for the long term so it's not remotely surprising that Pep hasn't made him a CB project.
