Rodri Injury Updates | City say ligament injury (pg117)

you know, i love football

We become lawyers, accountants, surgeons, physios, coaches very fast.
Google and AI has us all feeling like Einstein. Who needs a degree hey? The probable truth is they’ll have a clearer picture of what the damage is when they go in arthroscopically.

Interesting to see that the club have announced a knee ligament injury which requires surgery but not really gone into more detail. If he is out for the season the hopefully returns next ready to roll
They havent said (from what I see) that it needs surgery. Pep kind of did but in a vague way yesterday. MCL or LCL are treatable without surgery (have blood supply; can heal themselves). ACL pretty much always requires surgery because of very low blood supply to the ligament thus cannot self-heal. ACL is also fairly easily diagnosed by Lachman test and MRI. All of which doesnt tell us much but it is not necessarily the season-ender that many outlets and fans were gleefully proclaiming yesterday.
