Rodri Injury Updates | City say ligament injury (pg117)

Might depend on which type of scanner, MRI or Cat scanner. Suspect it’s a top of the range 3D MRI scanner. No expert but I’ve been informed there is a difference. Rodri’s will be top of the range.
Fair enough, I was only referencing my mate who was in Stepping Hill. Btw, he's a Blue and a friend of mine for 54 years since we met at Senior School, when he was diagnosed the cancer had spread to his pelvis so there was no point in removing the prostate. He thought he had a couple of years left in 2015, he's still going over nine years later and has become a Granddad twice since then. He's a walking miracle and lives each day to the full. One of our highlights was watching the mighty Blues lift the CL in Istanbul, never thought we'd see that.

If it’s five months I don’t think we would see him till next season.

Pep has a habit of easing players back after injury.

We will have nothing to play for by then anyway if you take notice of the flappers on here! :).

Give it a rest he's moved on, and why City Xtra thought that was any sort of news is beyond me!

Off the scale Tribalism, makes you wonder how on earth we will get anything close to a fair trial

It's just because they know how good he is. I punched the air with delight when Pickford injured Van Dijk, not because I wanted to see him hurt but because I knew we'd just won the League. Unfortunately for them, we'll be right up for the fight and losing one player won't make or break our season.

5 months from now is the end of February/start of March. In that scenario, even if he spends a month training before Pep reintroduces him, that still leaves 2 months before the end of the regular season, not to mention the Club World Cup in the summer.

The only way he doesn't play again until next season is if he's out for 8-9 months.

Sounds an amazing guy so glad he went to Istanbul. I mentioned the difference in scanners because I never knew there were 2D and 3D scanners. Apparently a lot of ours are only 2D. A friend recently had advanced breast cancer picked up in Greece on a 3D scanner, when it had been missed in England at regular breast checkup on a 2D scanner.
