Rodri Injury Updates | City say ligament injury (pg117)

We saw how we struggled without him last season. To think Pep saw that too and didn’t spend time over the summer thinking about how he’d set us up without Rodri isn’t very likely. So ,yes I’m fairly relaxed about it.
Yeah.

Yeah, it very much looked like from the handful of games we have played that part of this season's Pep's rubik's cube was creating systems that relied less on Rodri and/or integrated Rico. This obviously escalates and speeds up that problem solving, but he's clearly been cooking something up in that bald head of his.

Great club, Inter. Great fans as well.

I thought it was a bit below our usual sound standards we have with other clubs/fans who aren’t a hated+heated rival with us having a big thing about the Rodri goal against them from the final on the screens and holding up the Rodri banner when we played Inter last week. We rubbed it in with them a bit acting like they were an English redshirt or Real Madrid.

Didn’t think there was any need.

Still doesn’t really tell us anything.

There are three grades of ligament injuries: mild, moderate and rupture.

Grade 1 / Mild - 4-6 week recovery.
Grade 2 / Moderate - 6-10 week recovery.
Grade 3 / Rupture - 6-12 month recovery.
Didn’t pep say he needed surgery? In which case it surely can’t be a grade 1

I have to wonder if the people asking know anything about football???
Two things:
1) if Kalvin had any chance of a future we wouldn't have loaned him only having Rodders in that position
2) a PL club taking him on loan would NEVER have allowed a recall clause before January (I doubt most would allow any recall clause)
I’m pretty sure that recalls are forbidden under PL rules

If he's out for 4-5 months, doesn't he get a grade? :-)

Have you seen him lately? He's put on like 30 pounds since we last saw him and is not easily pushed aside. He was sent to Serie A to bulk up and learn how to be a physical DM.

Last night he bossed the midfield against Atalanta.. a team that's given us trouble.. so much trouble we needed Kyle Walker in goal.

I'll get the last laugh here because from everyone he's super high rated. But DM is not a position you can learn by just watching from the bench. You have to experience it.

You can call me whatever you want but I will keep saying this..

PERRONE IS RODRI's LONG TERM REPLACEMENT AT DM!
I haven't but I would love it if he can come back at some point and contribute.
