Rodri Injury Updates | City say ligament injury (pg117)

Exactly what we feared, well it's up to Pep to work his magic again.

Rodri has 3 years left on his current contract. Apparently he was telling his Spanish teammates at the Euros "he couldn't move to Spain because of his City contract". He is giving no signs of extending with us.

If we assume Rodri is out for this season, we will likely have max. 2 more years of him?

We should be getting his replacement in ASAP, to fill a void this season and so Rodri can be given more protection and rest in the remaining time of his contract.

And we better hope Haaland doesn't get injured because if he does Txiki will look extremely stupid.

The season isn't over, but the title is definitely Arsenal's to lose IMO.

Frankly, if they don't capitalise on this and win it now, I'm not sure they ever will.

Actually I want them to get the fuck kicked out of them at every game the play the small time cheating tarquin cunts.

Their game against us has really shown what utter fucking spunk trumpets they really are. Small time big mouthed useless cheating bottling wankers.

Fuck them. They’re winning nothing.

Shite news to say the least.

I’m sure Pep and his team, and the squad will see it as a challenge to perform without Rodri. While Rodri himself will seek the challenge in coming back fit asap.
Furthermore Real Madrid will drop any supposed interest in Rodri.

Still shite news though …

Could be a blessing in disguise long-term.

The way he was going he was on the edge of expiring. Could have been completely burned out by 30. We were all worried about it happening.

This year off could mean he's still good at 33, 34.
Decent take on it. I don’t understand the mechanics of it but I’m guessing that this kind of injury won’t have the same permanent effect on a relatively slow player like Rodri than it would have on a guy who relies on explosive movement to be effective.

He turned 28 just three months ago.

I'm not sure why you're writing off the next three years.
29 when he comes back and likely to pick up other niggling injuries that would take him to 31.
If a replace became available I would buy.
I’d rather Rodders have to fight to get back in the team .
He could easily play centre back for last few years of his career where he don’t have to over stretch himself.
He has dropped into CB before
