How many times has he re-joined so far?

About 11,150, at the last count. As it transpires, most of the posters in this thread are actually different NBC aliases.

As for real posters? Just you, me and maybe a couple of the mods. Actually... I'm assuming that isn't you, NBC?

;)

I don't really care whether it is WUM or ITK - after all, it's all good fun and in the spirit of our belief in better days to come which underpins our wishful thinking.

Accepting, for a moment, that TFM might really know this groundbreaking information, how have the thousands who have read the thread managed to keep it a secret among themselves for so long? Given TFM's loose lips, how do the press not know?

Maintaining the assumption that TFM really is ITK, what on earth compels him to keep posting on the thread to tell a bunch of complete strangers (who don't even share a common team with him) some information that many of them disbelieve in any case. This really doesn't add up.

Assuming (as I do) that he is just a harmless WUM, why on earth is he bothering?

Trying to work the whole thing out is utterly futile. The Palacio rumour is unsubstantiated (and countered by marginally more widely rumours & reports of a Panathinaikos bid & Boca's response). The photographs prove nothing, and even if they do picture TFM they do not prove the nature of his relationship with Villa (remember the Times' regular feature of fans' pics with the stars?). If we assume that the photographs do show TFM, then they still only prove that TFM had his picture taken with Villa. They do not, and cannot, prove that what he claims about Villa moving to City is true.

It's all a laugh, but ultimately the Palacios rumour is a complete red herring, and the photograph is a complete red herring. It's all just like a card trick. That we have these to discuss gives us some supposed evidence to chew over and distract our attention away from the fact that he has presented us with no credible evidence and no credible sources whatsoever even hint at the tale he's telling. It's just Paul Daniels in an Everton shirt...

David Villa Out Of Real Mallorca Clash; Joaquín A Doubt

David Villa will not play for Valencia this weekend after limping off against Sevilla in the Copa Del Rey last night.

The striker didn't manage to complete twenty minutes of the match due to cramps in his left thigh, and AS reports that he will now miss the match with Real Mallorca.

The news will be a blow to Unai Emery and to the team, but the good news is that it is not a repeat of a previous injury, that saw him come off against Athletic Bilbao last weekend.

Indeed, apparently it is just a case of the player needing some rest, and he should be back for the Copa del Rey return-leg next week.

Along with Villa, Joaquín may not make the match at the weekend as he is struggling with an injury that he picked up yesterday against Sevilla.

Many of the Valencia players who took part in the game at the Mestalla trained indoors today, and so many were absent that Emery had to call on ten players from the reserve team.

David Silva, David Albedla, Miguel Brito and Fernando Morientes all carried out specific work in the gym, whilst Renan should find out on Monday whether or not he will have to have an operation on his injury.

Valencia travel to Mallorca this weekend knowing that they have to win to keep pace with the top three, who have established a four point lead over Los Che.
