Footballing wise.....West Ham would suit him ideally,i agree.However,after watching that documentary i think he'd struggle with being any further away from his Mum and family.

If he is happy to move anywhere,personally Id be asking Brighton if they fancy a part ex for Caicedo.Throw Palmer in on loan as a sweetner :-)

I actually agree,i think Tommy is far more the deep lying playmaker we love to use,but it seems Pep thinks different.

So as this Is the Lavia thread,why not use him as bait.

Agreed but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Phillips at the time looked a decent sensible signing as a back up to Rodri, sadly he looks totally out of his depth even in that role.

I am on record here saying we’d be better off keeping Lavia than signing Philips whom I always said wasn’t good enough for us. I don’t think it’s the same now, especially because of where the two players you mentioned are. And who needs immediate replacing. Bobb can stay and be worked for the future, if it works, it works. But be careful. Palmer just won’t make it here despite the chances given

It wasn't hindsight though.....even though i very much got on board with the Philips signing,as i expected him to be the perfect understudy,i only did so because it was apparent Lavia was not going to get his deserved opportunity.

Doyle was always destined for loan,however.

Brazilian media is saying Liverpool has approached him as the Lavia alternative. This is one of the most “PL players” in South America today. Very high ceiling, tactically smart.
