Or maybe @mancboy is right and we should be pissing ourselves that two of our rivals are fighting over one of our rejects that Pep didn’t think was good enough to stay.
Looks like it’s happening againwould be incredible if Lavia rejected the dipeprs as well!
Thought he left us because he knew he'd struggle to get any playing time and now wants to go to Chelsea where he'll get struggle to get playing time once they sign Caicedo.
Looks like it’s happening again
City are not going to get it right all the time. He didn’t look like a £60m pound player and we have Rodri so maybe Lavia did not want to be backup? Not much we can do about it. We made our decision to transfer Phillips and sell Lavia.I was never arsed about him until now but this is making me think we may have made a mistake and should have either kept him or sign him back.
But we’re stuck with Phillips whom it seems nobody wants, not even Pep. Maybe we can get West Ham to sign him as part of a deal for Paqueta so we can upgrade our midfield too like Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have.

Lavia is not the player a lot of people think he is, he’s limited.City are not going to get it right all the time. So far that ain’t looking too good.
Not in todays crazy market!Lavia is not the player a lot of people think he is, he’s limited.
Indecent proposal?Hopefully Liverpool do the decent thing and move for Phillips if Lavia opts for Chelsea.
He'd probably do quite well for them.Hopefully Liverpool do the decent thing and move for Phillips if Lavia opts for Chelsea.
He’s not even the best DM on the South Coast. Not in todays crazy market!
He is the best young DM in the world -:)
Its usually what we do to the ragsThis guy isn’t even that good wtf is happening…
so basically Liverpool entered the caicedo race and forced Chelsea to up their offer by 15 mil and now Chelsea entered the lavia race and have forced Liverpool to up their offer by 15 mil.
so if both just stayed out the way of each other they would have saved 15 mil each. desperate clubs doing desperate things
City did it with Rice too. Rivals opting to play lose-lose rather than risk the opponent getting a win. It also stratifies the market, smaller clubs are nowhere near these players. Compounds the effect of FFP.so basically Liverpool entered the caicedo race and forced Chelsea to up their offer by 15 mil and now Chelsea entered the lavia race and have forced Liverpool to up their offer by 15 mil.
