Is the £49m sanction per season or per transfer window. If it's per season it be safe to say no one is coming in January either
this season only so i assume that includes january aswell. however summer of 2015 we are free to spend without these stupid restrictions

I thought it was for 2 seasons
if we meet the requirements that we break even in 2013-14 figures then sanctions will be lifted. and wage bill stays the same as 2013-14 or lower. someone correct me if im totally wrong.

Ah right cheers not too bad so

Looks like we're doing the work now for a signing next summer.

Quite a few of our recent signings are ones that have been on the radar for a while with early contact being the key to an eventual signing.

If we get him now then fantastic but next summer will do very nicely, although his price may well have increased by then.

Here's hoping...

SUNDAY MIRROR: Manchester City are looking to offload several squad players to fund a surprise move for Everton and England star Ross Barkley, while a £32million deal for Porto and France defender Eliaquim Mangala is close to being sealed.

It's just for this window. We can spend a billion quid in January if we like

I was under the impression it is a restriction covering the whole season.

No, just this summer according to he OS:

The Club’s expenditure on new players for the upcoming summer transfer window, on top of income from players it might sell, will be limited to 60m euros.
