Okay, that's a matter of opinion I know. In my opinion he was. But quite some distance. I think the Rossi we saw then would easily be the second best striker in today's City offence, coming in just behind Aguero.

If you honestly think he's better than Balo and Tevez you're crazy. He's a different style player than Dzeko, but I'd much rather have the Bosnian.
To be fair, I think Rossi is a massive c-nt and hope he never comes close to scoring a goal the rest of his career, so I might be bias. But our second best striker? Nah.

Matt the Giant said:My bad. No I don't think he's better than Tevez... so third best is more correct.
For us, considering how we play I think Rossi is a better option than Edin. He's very quick, exceptional in crowded spaces and a very lethal finisher. Like Suarez at Liverpool only a class better.
I think very highly of Edin by the way, so much I actually kind of want him to sign for Bayern or AC Milan where he probably would fit better in. He deserves to play week in and week out.
Out of curiosity: what happened to make you think he's (Giuseppe) a cnut? I always took him for a a down-to-earth kind of guy, a team-player who gave his all on the pitch. But that's just the impression I was under and I could be wrong.

Yeah, I wish Edin got more time somewhere he fits the style of play better.
And I'm an American, so I'll never forgive Rossi for turning his back on us. He had the chance to be one of the greatest American footballers of all time and help a US team that is starting to turn things around with players like Dempsey, Donovan, Bradley, and Jermaine Jones etc.
If your not from the States, I'd understand liking him. It's just become personal for me.
