I don't think there was an infringement as such as play was not started correctly - it wouldn't be an infringement if a quick lineout was taken in front of where the ball went out of play, just an invalid one.

Curious one though.

Maybe infringement was the wrong word, but I don't think conceding the line ball for an invalid line out would be unfair, similar to a foul throw in football.
 
Well a win in Rome papers over loads of cracks the recall of Webb being the major plus at least he went forward. On another day we should have been given a piece of wood shaped like a spoon.
The England game came as a shock. I was expecting a much close game, looked like Mr Edwards took the whip to some French arses ;-)
Ireland not running away with it in the first half, just went through the phases to a well deserved win. I hope the injury count does not prevent them winning the Grand Slam, but this will happen in the world cup.
Hope its a great day out on Sat by far the best team this year, and Faz is a blue :-)
 
Dry in Edinburgh, so it could be a decent game. Will be interesting to see how Scotland go without Russell and Hogg. Kinghorn at standoff is a new one to me.

France will beat Wales by, um, some. I'll go for 18.

Ireland-England will be interesting to see whether England can stop the Irish pack and however many props they decide to field!
