Sean Edwards introduced the double fullbacks with Wales but I’m not sure I’ve seen a false full back

Another win should get us to the 1/4 but who could we play? We don't look great but think we defending better than usually! Japan were the better rugby side but they lost! We could blag if go the semi Final at best..

Rugby now isn't the rugby I played, it's more hoofball. Epitomised by that ridiculous play between opposing fullbacks at the end of the Fiji v Australia game.

No chance, honestly England are shit. Whoever England get in the semi, assuming England get that far will muller them at a canter.

I don't think they were awful against the argies given the circumstances. They were certainly awful against Japan though.

The most uninspiring team, with the most boring style of rugby on the planet? I'd say so.

You'd think so, but NZ, Scotland and Ireland in particular can't afford to carry too many injuries.

Fiji, Australia or Wales. Fiji are fun to watch but flaky as hell and don't have the pack game to beat England, Wales and Australia are both shocking.

Grealish would have to be a centre and Haaland would be wasted anywhere but the wings with his pace and power.

We should be getting to the semi finals in all honesty. As bad as England have been we're good enough to beat Fiji/Australia/Wales and make the semi finals. All of the favourites are the other side and it will be Ireland/SA/NZ/France that win it. The only hope England have of making the final is that those teams are fatigued from having a collection of tougher group games. England can find some attacking rhythm with their remaining group games whilst Ireland still have to play SA and Scotland before then playing NZ/France and then coming over to the other side of the draw in the semi finals.

England look fit, that's one thing that was noticeable. The Japanese were blowing after 70minutes whereas we looked pretty fresh still. Injuries will play their part as well.

My money was on SA before the tournament, but Ireland really can win it if they can keep their nerve.
