...Mancini is defo staying and SWP is out.

If its for a fee then i'd say the name is in this post.

I see what you did there!

bet thechap who had thetattoo will be praying for this to be right!!! i wouldstill love to see him in the shirt i have to say.

Of course 'signing on fee' would make more sense if in connection with a player out of contract - else it would be a 'transfer fee' - so if substance to this - Joe Cole

Ronaldo, Messi, Torres, Ibra, Fabregas and Ribery are the only players which would command a sum in the region of a world record fee.

hopefully it will be torres.when we get fourth i wud sign kjear pastore and cavani from palermo.also banega from valencia.veloso and carrico from sporting lisbon.ozil and di maria this wud give us a lot of skill and technical ability .cant wait for next season.

Can't see Torres (because of injuries) or Ibra (because of the perception that he has been poor for Barca this season) costing 80 million to be honest and Ribery's contract is up next summer as well so I doubt we would splash that much cash on him. I guess that means we are singing Fabregas...

As people have been saying, Villa has suggested he may now go to England, which he didn't want to do in the past.

Torres is also a possibility. I can't see anyone else coming or being able to demand that type of fee.

I would personally prefer Torres, but would still spunk in my pants if we got Villa.

Doubt the OP is true though, but we can dream.

And some people are complaining about a 5% season card increase. Shame on you.

Fabregas is young and open to far more improvement than the others listed.

While he may not be the best player in the world now in a couple of years he could be. At least the best midfielder. While Villa, Kaka, Gerrard etc will be on the slide from now on.

He is premier proven to. So if we were going to splash this amount on one player then maybe he makes sense.

Give him the arm band and say make yourself a legend.

The only problem is probably his desire to return to Spain, probably Barca.
