haha was just about to post about my troubles, and saw the distances youre talking about, anyway here goes ,try not to laugh :)
week 6 run 1 ,5mins,8mins,5 mins,
i had a brainwave, i enjoy fishing for pike/perch so my great idea ,park up next to the canal,i thought it had a decent pathway do my run and have a fish,,what could possibly be hard about that after my 20 mins run the other day, off i set, first 5 mins was good, early morning taking in the sights of the canal and wildlife(no music on today wanted to be aware of cyclists) when the 8 min run started the ground changed ,very uneven ,big puddles and i really struggled to complete it, half way through the 8 minutes the bell goes to signal half way through, but i had to take a breather about 30 seconds then set off again, i was quite annoyed with myself , then onto the 5 min run which was easier , not sure what went wrong on the 8 min run, after the run went fishing(didnt catch anything :) ) but my calves are fucked , i can only put it down to the uneven ground, im stiff already :(
