There's a bit of a difference in offering an opinion, and sending in troops to Ukraine on the basis of what we think Putin would or would not do.

Committing atrocities is a decision it's not a group directive, the "English" you are talking about was circa 300 years ago, since then we have fought under the "British" banner.

No need for the whataboutery here.

Getting exemption as a CO is a bit different from being conscripted into an army and then refusing an order (even if you think the order is a war crime).
