There was one when this war kicked off as well, the Ukrainian President has avoided attempts on his life as well. When the regime sees how mother Russia is crumbling due to sanctions, the body bags of Russian soldiers being sent back and their yachts are being impounded. All the focus will then be on the person who is pushing this needless war.

Normally I would agree but my hope is that if he woke up dead tomorrow, someone with a bit of sanity would replace him and withdraw from Ukraine.
(I doubt the last bit sadly)

I guess those that wanted to have now left Ukraine, or gone back. The refugee setup outside the local train station has been taken down it seems this week.

The war is going well for Russia as according to CIT, the open source intelligence group, Russian General Alexander Dvornikov (aka Butcher of Syria) - appointed Head of the Southern Command in April to get the Russian offensive in the Donbas moving - has now been replaced by Colonel General Genady Zhidko.
All hail the new guy. Perhaps the Z as the first letter in his surname will do the trick?
I think the only way things will get better is if the most senior Russian commander is dismissed (permenantly).

This is another way of saying 'if you don't give Putin something so that he can say to his people, 'I have a Victory' he will get even worse.'
