Russian invasion of Ukraine

In the is wonderful age of technology, can the Mods spot whether it is a person or a bot posting ?

Just askin'
There are things we can check, but the best answer is "no, not really", Ric might have better tools.

Of course, if you think it's a "bot", or simply don't like the narrative, you can just stop responding.

You know, it's amazing isn't it.
It's taken Russia 3 years to take the best part of fuck all from Ukraine at the cost over a million men killed and seriously injured.
Yet they took the White House in 6 months for barely any casualties at all.
Now nobody trusts the US as far as they can throw them and Western alliances are strained to the limit and other nations wont be 100% behind the US when China eventually tries to take Taiwan.

So in discussions in a server, one member came up with a theory. Given that Ukraine has been offering to buy the gear, Trump's stopping what was in Poland, then in a few weeks takes payment for it and delivers, claiming 'a great deal'

As a general rule, don't ever believe any "leaked intelligence assessments" from countries at war as their truth rate is about 0%

While always good advice to air on the side of caution.

The Ukrainian’s were right when they said NK troops and weapons were going to be sent well in advance of it happening last time too. So there is a track record of valid intel on this side of things.

Huge chunks of the Republican Party are fuming over Trump's decision to suspend aid: For example:

Trump has burnt through a lot of political capital in the last week. His big shit bill past at 4am last night. It's been a massive struggle to get it through and with good reason.

There could be serious fall out today when America wakes up. This Bill has the potential to be a Liz Truss budget style event.

The fall out in reality started weeks ago with the falling US dollar. Its at a 4 year low against the euro and generally down across he board. The logical conclusion is inflation will follow. Trump is very badly placed to deal with inflation. Much if his policy is inflationary.

Keep an eye on xchange rates and bond yields.

Wow - just read 10 pages lead by a complete nutter - where does the internet find these idiots. Love the way his type chuck a weak argument, is countered by facts and then either dismissed them or changes the attack. Doubt a Russian shill as they are brighter than that generally. I'm guessing aged somewhere between 14-17 with a very shallow grasp of the world
