Russian invasion of Ukraine

China is in a strange place, they keep saying they want an end to the war but are propping up the ruSSian economy and supplying them with the tools to prolong the war. Are they trying to drain the west's economy?
They are providing sufficient support so that Russia doesn't lose. The result of which would the eyes of the US focusing on Taiwan and the situation in the far east.

There is a massive water shortage in occupied Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Crimea and Donetsk oblasts. A hotter than usual summer accompanied by the previous Russian destruction of the Dinipro dam has resulted in massive water shortages. Bottled water supplies are available 1 day in 3. This is hitting Russian armed forces in the region hard as well as the local populations.
Many grass fires are occuring In the areas too. Some out of control for long periods.

“Ukrainian units are employing all necessary means to detect and neutralize such enemy activity We also discussed with the Commander-in-Chief the situation in the border areas of the Sumy region.

I thank all involved units for fully carrying out their assigned tasks. I want to especially commend the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade for their actions specifically in the Pokrovsk sector, and the 225th Separate Assault Regiment and the 80th Separate Air Assault Galician Brigade for their defense of the Sumy region.

Thank you, warriors! The Commander-in-Chief also reported on our long-range strikes, particularly the frequency and effectiveness of deep strikes. Russian logistics must suffer significantly in response to Russia prolonging this war.
In addition, the Commander-in-Chief, together with Ukraine’s Minister of Defense and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, is currently reviewing all requests for additional funding for the production and supply of drones.

This includes both drones for the frontline and those needed to defend our cities and communities from Russian attack drones. The relevant additional contracts will be signed next week
