Little if any imo. Perhaps we should just give the Ukranians a sub then. And let them press the buttons to release tomahawk missiles on the RA in Ukraine. Presumably you are OK with that? There is a massive difference between supplying arms, which is actually a business, and firing those arms at the Russians wherever they are. The latter is an act of war, the former is not.
I agree with you about travel restrictions though
Think Ukraine are using old "dumb bombs" with JDAMs attatched, but they only travel about 30km.
Maybe this new system your on about is similar to JDAM?
Slava Ukraini.
The Balkans is still Europes' soft under belly, russian influence goes very deep at every level of society and government in many states there. Allowing Serbia to join the EU with the vetoes they would have will play right into the russians' hands, there is now for the first time since their application to join in 2009 a minority in favour of joining the EU which tells you where the majority of the publics allegiances are. Just look at the way Hungary has become a major disruptor to the EU/NATO throughout this war on sanctions, arms to Ukraine, admission of Finland/Sweden to NATO and effectively acting as putin's PR company in Europe.Didn’t a British Newspaper back in 1914 say something like, ‘we’d be better off cutting Serbia off from the mainland and letting it sink into the sea rather than help defend it against Austria’, ahead of the Great War?
We're only weaker if Russua defeats Ukraine.Sending tanks and artillery guns to Ukraine to bolster the country's war effort will leave the British Army weaker, its chief has said.
Gen Sir Patrick Sanders said that Ukraine would put British donations to "good use" in the fight with Russia, in an internal message sent to troops and seen by the BBC.
But he warned that it would also leave the British Army "temporarily weaker".
The UK has committed to sending 14 Challenger 2 tanks to the frontline.
Around 30 AS90s - large, self-propelled guns - are also expected to be delivered.

Wait a bit, he's not even appointed. And you don't know how russia's brutal war has changed his mindset towards russia, whatever it has been once (I have no idea).FFS....

Sounds familiar, probably doesn't have a leg to stand on...FFS....

because planes subs and cruise missiles are offensive weapons whereas, to date, pretty much everything provided has been focussed on defence. Also the complexities of the weapons you quote in terms of training, ammunition, maintenance etc have been discussed many times on here, but you know all that don't you.Little if any imo. Perhaps we should just give the Ukranians a sub then. And let them press the buttons to release tomahawk missiles on the RA in Ukraine. Presumably you are OK with that?
We are giving them everything else apart from planes and those sort of missiles? What difference would it make?
