If Trump gets in it would be over 18 months away from now before he can do anything.
This is way too long for Russia to survive in Ukraine at current rates of attrition.

Let's say somehow I'm wrong and they are still hanging on, USA pulling out support would definitely weaken Ukraine but it will by no means stop them from defending any land the hold.

Europe and countries like Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Sweden cannot afford to let Russia win and therefore would step up theor support.

On top of this I suspect all other European countries would realise they need to step into the USA's shoes.

Additionally, Ukruine itself would have fully transformed into a full wartime economy that can greatly help themselves.

Russia needed Trump and the start of the war not in January 2025!

Agree with the sentiment, but the numbers without USA are pretty minimal against the needs of Ukraine. How much Europe could close that gap would not be enough. Luckily, Trump will not win an election ever again.

Slightly disagree with the first part of your statement, Europe can replace the money and kit the USA sends it just doesn't want to whilst they are happy to do it.

Anyone who actually believes that statement is a fucking moron. Firstly, to ‘end’ it he will have to get the agreement of Ukraine and the rest of NATO, given this is a proxy war. Not going to happen, unless Putin capitulates, which is not going to happen, unless forced, which would obviate the need for a settlement. This is without taking into account the fact that Russia simply won’t keep to any terms, as has been proven again and again. Anyone who thinks they will is also a fucking moron.

This pathway of ‘ending’ the war would greatly increase tensions within NATO and increase the likelihood of WW3, not reduce it.
